Using Geopier® Elements for Building Additions

Did you know that Geopier Rammed Aggregate Pier® (RAP) Elements and GeoConcrete® Column (GCC) Rigid Inclusions have been used successfully on many building addition projects where deep, unsuitable soils (such as fill or organics) are present? Using ground improvement in lieu of overexcavation can help:

  • Avoid offsite soil disposal premiums
  • Avoid dewatering challenges and premiums
