Writing a Rigid Inclusion (RI) specification from scratch in our geotechnically-challenging marketplace is no small task! Some important items to consider when writing a spec include:
- Compliance with local building code and local standard practices, including evaluating footing and slab performance for critical lateral, shear, and bending requirements.
- Roles and responsibilities of different stakeholders.
- Clarity, practicality, and completeness.
